Surah 27: An-Naml

النمل

Ayah 1

Ṭā, Seen These are the verses of the Qur’ān [i.e., recitation] and a clear Book

طسٓ ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ Ta-seen tilka ayatualqur-ani wakitabin mubeen🔊

Ayah 2

As guidance and good tidings for the believers

هُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ Hudan wabushra lilmu/mineen🔊

Ayah 3

Who establish prayer and give zakāh, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ Allatheena yuqeemoona assalatawayu/toona azzakata wahum bil-akhiratihum yooqinoon🔊

Ayah 4

Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ Inna allatheena la yu/minoonabil-akhirati zayyanna lahum aAAmalahumfahum yaAAmahoon🔊

Ayah 5

Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers.

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ Ola-ika allatheena lahum soo-oalAAathabi wahum fee al-akhirati humu al-akhsaroon🔊

Ayah 6

And indeed, [O Muḥammad], you receive the Qur’ān from one Wise and Knowing.

وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ Wa-innaka latulaqqa alqur-anamin ladun hakeemin AAaleem🔊

Ayah 7

[Mention] when Moses said to his family, “Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves.”

إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ Ith qala moosa li-ahlihiinnee anastu naran saateekum minhabikhabarin aw ateekum bishihabin qabasinlaAAallakum tastaloon🔊

Ayah 8

But when he came to it, he was called, “Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allāh, Lord of the worlds.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ Falamma jaaha noodiya anboorika man fee annari waman hawlahawasubhana Allahi rabbi alAAalameen🔊

Ayah 9

O Moses, indeed it is I - Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”

يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ Ya moosa innahu ana AllahualAAazeezu alhakeem🔊

Ayah 10

And [he was told], “Throw down your staff.” But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return [Allāh said], “O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear.

وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّى لَا يَخَافُ لَدَىَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ Waalqi AAasaka falamma raahatahtazzu kaannaha jannun walla mudbiranwalam yuAAaqqib ya moosa la takhaf innee layakhafu ladayya almursaloon🔊

Ayah 11

Otherwise, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil - indeed, I am Forgiving and Merciful.

إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًۢا بَعْدَ سُوٓءٍ فَإِنِّى غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ Illa man thalama thummabaddala husnan baAAda soo-in fa-innee ghafoorun raheem🔊

Ayah 12

And put your hand into the opening of your garment [at the breast]; it will come out white without disease. [These are] among the nine signs [you will take] to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient.”

وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ ۖ فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَـٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ Waadkhil yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaamin ghayri soo-in fee tisAAi ayatin ilafirAAawna waqawmihi innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeen🔊

Ayah 13

But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, “This is obvious magic.”

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ Falamma jaat-hum ayatunamubsiratan qaloo hatha sihrun mubeen🔊

Ayah 14

And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters.

وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا ۚ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ Wajahadoo biha wastayqanat-haanfusuhum thulman waAAuluwwan fanthurkayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideen🔊

Ayah 15

And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, “Praise [is due] to Allāh, who has favored us over many of His believing servants.”

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ عِلْمًا ۖ وَقَالَا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ Walaqad atayna dawoodawasulaymana AAilman waqala alhamdulillahi allathee faddalana AAalakatheerin min AAibadihi almu/mineen🔊

Ayah 16

And Solomon inherited David. He said, “O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty.”

وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ دَاوُۥدَ ۖ وَقَالَ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ ٱلطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْمُبِينُ Wawaritha sulaymanu dawoodawaqala ya ayyuha annasuAAullimna mantiqa attayri waooteenamin kulli shay-in inna hatha lahuwa alfadlualmubeen🔊

Ayah 17

And gathered for Solomon were his soldiers of the jinn and men and birds, and they were [marching] in rows

وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ جُنُودُهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ Wahushira lisulaymanajunooduhu mina aljinni wal-insi wattayrifahum yoozaAAoon🔊

Ayah 18

Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, “O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not.”

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمْلُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ مَسَـٰكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ Hatta itha ataw AAalawadi annamli qalat namlatun ya ayyuhaannamlu odkhuloo masakinakum la yahtimannakumsulaymanu wajunooduhu wahum la yashAAuroon🔊

Ayah 19

So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.”2

فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ Fatabassama dahikan min qawlihawaqala rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allateeanAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihantardahu waadkhilnee birahmatika fee AAibadikaassaliheen🔊

Ayah 20

And he took attendance of the birds and said, “Why do I not see the hoopoe - or is he among the absent?

وَتَفَقَّدَ ٱلطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِىَ لَآ أَرَى ٱلْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ Watafaqqada attayra faqalama liya la ara alhudhuda am kana minaalgha-ibeen🔊

Ayah 21

I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or slaughter him unless he brings me clear authorization.”1

لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّى بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ LaoAAaththibannahu AAathabanshadeedan aw laathbahannahu aw laya/tiyannee bisultaninmubeen🔊

Ayah 22

But he [i.e., the hoopoe] stayed not long and said, “I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news.

فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِۦ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍۭ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ Famakatha ghayra baAAeedin faqala ahattubima lam tuhit bihi waji/tuka min saba-inbinaba-in yaqeen🔊

Ayah 23

Indeed, I found [there] a woman ruling them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a great throne.

إِنِّى وَجَدتُّ ٱمْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ Innee wajadtu imraatan tamlikuhum waootiyatmin kulli shay-in walaha AAarshun AAatheem🔊

Ayah 24

I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allāh, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided,

وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ Wajadtuha waqawmaha yasjudoonalishshamsi min dooni Allahi wazayyana lahumu ashshaytanuaAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani assabeeli fahumla yahtadoon🔊

Ayah 25

[And] so they do not prostrate to Allāh, who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare -

أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى يُخْرِجُ ٱلْخَبْءَ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ Alla yasjudoo lillahi allatheeyukhriju alkhabaa fee assamawati wal-ardiwayaAAlamu ma tukhfoona wama tuAAlinoon🔊

Ayah 26

Allāh - there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Great Throne.”

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ۩ Allahu la ilaha illahuwa rabbu alAAarshi alAAatheem🔊

Ayah 27

[Solomon] said, “We will see whether you were truthful or were of the liars.

۞ قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ Qala sananthuru asadaqtaam kunta mina alkathibeen🔊

Ayah 28

Take this letter of mine and deliver it to them. Then leave them and see what [answer] they will return.”

ٱذْهَب بِّكِتَـٰبِى هَـٰذَا فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ Ithhab bikitabee hathafaalqih ilayhim thumma tawalla AAanhum fanthurmatha yarjiAAoon🔊

Ayah 29

She said, “O eminent ones, indeed, to me has been delivered a noble letter.

قَالَتْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ إِنِّىٓ أُلْقِىَ إِلَىَّ كِتَـٰبٌ كَرِيمٌ Qalat ya ayyuha almalaoinnee olqiya ilayya kitabun kareem🔊

Ayah 30

Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it is [i.e., reads]: ‘In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

إِنَّهُۥ مِن سُلَيْمَـٰنَ وَإِنَّهُۥ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Innahu min sulaymana wa-innahu bismiAllahi arrahmani arraheem🔊

Ayah 31

Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].‘”

أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَىَّ وَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ Alla taAAloo AAalayya wa/tooneemuslimeen🔊

Ayah 32

She said, “O eminent ones, advise me in my affair. I would not decide a matter until you witness [for] me.”1

قَالَتْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَفْتُونِى فِىٓ أَمْرِى مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا حَتَّىٰ تَشْهَدُونِ Qalat ya ayyuha almalaoaftoonee fee amree ma kuntu qatiAAatan amran hattatashhadoon🔊

Ayah 33

They said, “We are men of strength and of great military might, but the command is yours, so see what you will command.”

قَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أُو۟لُوا۟ قُوَّةٍ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ وَٱلْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ فَٱنظُرِى مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ Qaloo nahnu oloo quwwatinwaoloo ba/sin shadeedin wal-amru ilayki fanthureematha ta/mureen🔊

Ayah 34

She said, “Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do.

قَالَتْ إِنَّ ٱلْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا۟ قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوٓا۟ أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَآ أَذِلَّةً ۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ Qalat inna almulooka ithadakhaloo qaryatan afsadooha wajaAAaloo aAAizzata ahlihaathillatan wakathalika yafAAaloon🔊

Ayah 35

But indeed, I will send to them a gift and see with what [reply] the messengers will return.”

وَإِنِّى مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنَاظِرَةٌۢ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ Wa-innee mursilatun ilayhim bihadiyyatin fanathiratunbima yarjiAAu almursaloon🔊

Ayah 36

So when they came to Solomon, he said, “Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allāh has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَآ ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّآ ءَاتَىٰكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ Falamma jaa sulaymana qalaatumiddoonani bimalin fama ataniyaAllahu khayrun mimma atakum bal antumbihadiyyatikum tafrahoon🔊

Ayah 37

Return to them, for we will surely come to them with soldiers that they will be powerless to encounter, and we will surely expel them therefrom in humiliation, and they will be debased.”

ٱرْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُم بِجُنُودٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَآ أَذِلَّةً وَهُمْ صَـٰغِرُونَ IrjiAA ilayhim falana/tiyannahum bijunoodinla qibala lahum biha walanukhrijannahum minhaathillatan wahum saghiroon🔊

Ayah 38

[Solomon] said, “O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?”

قَالَ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِى بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ Qala ya ayyuha almalaoayyukum ya/teenee biAAarshiha qabla an ya/toonee muslimeen🔊

Ayah 39

A powerful one from among the jinn said, “I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy.”

قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ ۖ وَإِنِّى عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِىٌّ أَمِينٌ Qala AAifreetun mina aljinni anaateeka bihi qabla an taqooma min maqamika wa-inneAAalayhi laqawiyyun ameen🔊

Ayah 40

Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, “I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.” And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, “This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous.”

قَالَ ٱلَّذِى عِندَهُۥ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِندَهُۥ قَالَ هَـٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّى لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ ءَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ ۖ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّى غَنِىٌّ كَرِيمٌ Qala allathee AAindahu AAilmunmina alkitabi ana ateeka bihi qabla anyartadda ilayka tarfuka falamma raahumustaqirran AAindahu qala hatha min fadlirabbee liyabluwanee aashkuru am akfuru waman shakara fa-innamayashkuru linafsihi waman kafara fa-inna rabbee ghaniyyun kareem🔊

Ayah 41

He said, “Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided.”

قَالَ نَكِّرُوا۟ لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ أَتَهْتَدِىٓ أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ Qala nakkiroo laha AAarshahananthur atahtadee am takoonu mina allatheenala yahtadoon🔊

Ayah 42

So when she arrived, it was said [to her], “Is your throne like this?” She said, “[It is] as though it was it.” [Solomon said], “And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allāh].

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَـٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ ۖ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ ۚ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ Falamma jaat qeela ahakathaAAarshuki qalat kaannahu huwa waooteena alAAilmamin qabliha wakunna muslimeen🔊

Ayah 43

And that which she was worshipping other than Allāh had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people.”

وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَـٰفِرِينَ Wasaddaha ma kanattaAAbudu min dooni Allahi innaha kanat minqawmin kafireen🔊

Ayah 44

She was told, “Enter the palace.” But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, “Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass.” She said, “My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allāh, Lord of the worlds.”

قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدْخُلِى ٱلصَّرْحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ ۗ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ Qeela laha odkhulee assarhafalamma raat-hu hasibat-hu lujjatan wakashafat AAansaqayha qala innahu sarhunmumarradun min qawareera qalat rabbi innee thalamtunafsee waaslamtu maAAa sulaymana lillahi rabbi alAAalameen🔊

Ayah 45

And We had certainly sent to Thamūd their brother Ṣāliḥ, [saying], “Worship Allāh,” and at once they were two parties conflicting.

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَـٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ Walaqad arsalna ila thamoodaakhahum salihan ani oAAbudoo Allahafa-itha hum fareeqani yakhtasimoon🔊

Ayah 46

He said, “O my people, why are you impatient for evil before [i.e., instead of] good?1 Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allāh that you may receive mercy?”

قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ Qala ya qawmi limatastaAAjiloona bissayyi-ati qabla alhasanati lawlatastaghfiroona Allaha laAAallakum turhamoon🔊

Ayah 47

They said, “We consider you a bad omen, you and those with you.” He said, “Your omen [i.e., fate] is with Allāh. Rather, you are a people being tested.”1

قَالُوا۟ ٱطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ ۚ قَالَ طَـٰٓئِرُكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ Qaloo ittayyarna bikawabiman maAAaka qala ta-irukum AAinda Allahibal antum qawmun tuftanoon🔊

Ayah 48

And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs].

وَكَانَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ Wakana fee almadeenati tisAAatu rahtinyufsidoona fee al-ardi wala yuslihoon🔊

Ayah 49

They said, “Take a mutual oath by Allāh that we will kill him by night, he and his family. Then we will say to his executor ‘We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.‘”

قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ Qaloo taqasamoo billahilanubayyitannahu waahlahu thumma lanaqoolanna liwaliyyihi mashahidna mahlika ahlihi wa-inna lasadiqoon🔊

Ayah 50

And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan, while they perceived not.

وَمَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرًا وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ Wamakaroo makran wamakarna makranwahum la yashAAuroon🔊

Ayah 51

Then look how was the outcome of their plan - that We destroyed them and their people, all.

فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَـٰهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ Fanthur kayfa kanaAAaqibatu makrihim anna dammarnahumwaqawmahum ajmaAAeen🔊

Ayah 52

So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they had done. Indeed in that is a sign for people who know.

فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةًۢ بِمَا ظَلَمُوٓا۟ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ Fatilka buyootuhum khawiyatan bimathalamoo inna fee thalika laayatanliqawmin yaAAlamoon🔊

Ayah 53

And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allāh.

وَأَنجَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ Waanjayna allatheena amanoowakanoo yattaqoon🔊

Ayah 54

And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you commit immorality while you are seeing?2

وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ Walootan ith qalaliqawmihi ata/toona alfahishata waantum tubsiroon🔊

Ayah 55

Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly.”

أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ A-innakum lata/toona arrijalashahwatan min dooni annisa-i bal antum qawmuntajhaloon🔊

Ayah 56

But the answer of his people was not except that they said, “Expel the family of Lot from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure.”

۞ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ Fama kana jawabaqawmihi illa an qaloo akhrijoo ala lootinmin qaryatikum innahum onasun yatatahharoon🔊

Ayah 57

So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We destined her to be of those who remained behind.

فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَـٰهَا مِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ Faanjaynahu waahlahu illaimraatahu qaddarnaha mina alghabireen🔊

Ayah 58

And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned.

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ Waamtarna AAalayhim mataranfasaa mataru almunthareen🔊

Ayah 59

Say, [O Muḥammad], “Praise be to Allāh, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allāh better or what they associate with Him?”

قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ۗ ءَآللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ Quli alhamdu lillahi wasalamunAAala AAibadihi allatheena istafaallahu khayrun amma yushrikoon🔊

Ayah 60

[More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allāh?1 [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].

أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ حَدَآئِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنۢبِتُوا۟ شَجَرَهَآ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ Amman khalaqa assamawatiwal-arda waanzala lakum mina assama-imaan faanbatna bihi hada-iqa thatabahjatin ma kana lakum an tunbitoo shajarahaa-ilahun maAAa Allahi bal hum qawmun yaAAdiloon🔊

Ayah 61

Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allāh? [No], but most of them do not know.

أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَـٰلَهَآ أَنْهَـٰرًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ Amman jaAAala al-arda qararanwajaAAala khilalaha anharan wajaAAala laharawasiya wajaAAala bayna albahrayni hajizana-ilahun maAAa Allahi bal aktharuhum layaAAlamoon🔊

Ayah 62

Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?1 Is there a deity with Allāh? Little do you remember.

أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ Amman yujeebu almudtarra ithadaAAahu wayakshifu assoo-a wayajAAalukum khulafaaal-ardi a-ilahun maAAa Allahi qaleelan matathakkaroon🔊

Ayah 63

Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allāh? High is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him.

أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ وَمَن يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ تَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ Amman yahdeekum fee thulumatialbarri walbahri waman yursilu arriyahabushran bayna yaday rahmatihi a-ilahun maAAa AllahitaAAala Allahu AAamma yushrikoon🔊

Ayah 64

Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allāh? Say, “Produce your proof, if you should be truthful.”

أَمَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ Amman yabdao alkhalqa thumma yuAAeeduhuwaman yarzuqukum mina assama-i wal-ardia-ilahun maAAa Allahi qul hatoo burhanakumin kuntum sadiqeen🔊

Ayah 65

Say, “None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allāh, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.”

قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْغَيْبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ Qul la yaAAlamu man fee assamawatiwal-ardi alghayba illa Allahu wamayashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoon🔊

Ayah 66

Rather, their knowledge is arrested concerning the Hereafter. Rather, they are in doubt about it. Rather, they are, concerning it, blind.

بَلِ ٱدَّٰرَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا ۖ بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ Bali iddaraka AAilmuhum fee al-akhiratibal hum fee shakkin minha bal hum minha AAamoon🔊

Ayah 67

And those who disbelieve say, “When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]?

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا وَءَابَآؤُنَآ أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ Waqala allatheena kafaroo a-ithakunna turaban waabaona a-innalamukhrajoon🔊

Ayah 68

We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples.”

لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَـٰذَا نَحْنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ Laqad wuAAidna hatha nahnuwaabaona min qablu in hatha illaasateeru al-awwaleen🔊

Ayah 69

Say, [O Muḥammad], “Proceed [i.e., travel] through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals.”

قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ Qul seeroo fee al-ardi fanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu almujrimeen🔊

Ayah 70

And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire.

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُن فِى ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ Wala tahzan AAalayhim walatakun fee dayqin mimma yamkuroon🔊

Ayah 71

And they say, “When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?”

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ Wayaqooloona mata hathaalwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeen🔊

Ayah 72

Say, “Perhaps it is close behind you [i.e., very near] - some of that for which you are impatient.

قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ Qul AAasa an yakoona radifa lakumbaAAdu allathee tastaAAjiloon🔊

Ayah 73

And indeed, your Lord is the possessor of bounty for the people, but most of them are not grateful.”

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ Wa-inna rabbaka lathoo fadlinAAala annasi walakinna aktharahum layashkuroon🔊

Ayah 74

And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ Wa-inna rabbaka layaAAlamu ma tukinnusudooruhum wama yuAAlinoon🔊

Ayah 75

And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register

وَمَا مِنْ غَآئِبَةٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ Wama min gha-ibatin fee assama-iwal-ardi illa fee kitabin mubeen🔊

Ayah 76

Indeed, this Qur’ān relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree.

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَكْثَرَ ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ Inna hatha alqur-ana yaqussuAAala banee isra-eela akthara allathee humfeehi yakhtalifoon🔊

Ayah 77

And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers.

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ Wa-innahu lahudan warahmatunlilmu/mineen🔊

Ayah 78

Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ Inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum bihukmihiwahuwa alAAazeezu alAAaleem🔊

Ayah 79

So rely upon Allāh; indeed, you are upon the clear truth.

فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُبِينِ Fatawakkal AAala Allahi innakaAAala alhaqqi almubeen🔊

Ayah 80

Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating.

إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ Innaka la tusmiAAu almawta walatusmiAAu assumma adduAAaa ithawallaw mudbireen🔊

Ayah 81

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [i.e., submitting to Allāh].

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ Wama anta bihadee alAAumyiAAan dalalatihim in tusmiAAu illa manyu/minu bi-ayatina fahum muslimoon🔊

Ayah 82

And when the word [i.e., decree] befalls them We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith].

۞ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَآبَّةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ Wa-itha waqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhimakhrajna lahum dabbatan mina al-arditukallimuhum anna annasa kanoo bi-ayatinala yooqinoon🔊

Ayah 83

And [warn of] the Day when We will gather from every nation a company of those who deny Our signs, and they will be [driven] in rows

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ Wayawma nahshuru min kulli ommatinfawjan mimman yukaththibu bi-ayatinafahum yoozaAAoon🔊

Ayah 84

Until, when they arrive [at the place of Judgement], He will say, “Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?”

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُو قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِـَٔايَـٰتِى وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا۟ بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ Hatta itha jaooqala akaththabtum bi-ayatee walam tuheetoobiha AAilman ammatha kuntum taAAmaloon🔊

Ayah 85

And the decree will befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak.

وَوَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ WawaqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhim bima thalamoofahum la yantiqoon🔊

Ayah 86

Do they not see that We made the night that they may rest therein and the day giving sight? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ Alam yaraw anna jaAAalnaallayla liyaskunoo feehi wannahara mubsiraninna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yu/minoon🔊

Ayah 87

And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allāh wills. And all will come to Him humbled.

وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَٰخِرِينَ Wayawma yunfakhu fee assoorifafaziAAa man fee assamawati waman feeal-ardi illa man shaa Allahu wakullunatawhu dakhireen🔊

Ayah 88

And you see the mountains, thinking them motionless while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allāh, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Aware of that which you do.

وَتَرَى ٱلْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ ٱلسَّحَابِ ۚ صُنْعَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ Watara aljibala tahsabuhajamidatan wahiya tamurru marra assahabi sunAAaAllahi allathee atqana kulla shay-in innahukhabeerun bima tafAAaloon🔊

Ayah 89

Whoever comes [at Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it, and they, from the terror of that Day, will be safe.

مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ ءَامِنُونَ Man jaa bilhasanatifalahu khayrun minha wahum min fazaAAin yawma-ithinaminoon🔊

Ayah 90

And whoever comes with an evil deed - their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], “Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?”

وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ Waman jaa bissayyi-atifakubbat wujoohuhum fee annari hal tujzawna illama kuntum taAAmaloon🔊

Ayah 91

[Say, O Muḥammad], “I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [i.e., those who submit to Allāh].

إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْبَلْدَةِ ٱلَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُۥ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ Innama omirtu an aAAbuda rabba hathihialbaldati allathee harramaha walahu kullushay-in waomirtu an akoona mina almuslimeen🔊

Ayah 92

And to recite the Qur’ān.” And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, “I am only [one] of the warners.”

وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ Waan atluwa alqur-ana famani ihtadafa-innama yahtadee linafsihi waman dalla faqulinnama ana mina almunthireen🔊

Ayah 93

And say, “[All] praise is [due] to Allāh. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.”

وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ Waquli alhamdu lillahisayureekum ayatihi fataAArifoonaha wamarabbuka bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloon🔊
